Yawning

Ever wonder why people yawn right after someone that is close to them yawns?

My theory is that the reason that you yawn is because the body needs oxygen. So you end up creating a small vacuum around you that deprives other people of their oxygen, so they yawn.

Any other ideas?

Passing Lane

Ever been stuck in the passing lane behind someone who is insisting on doing the same speed as the car next to him. It is one of the most frustrating things that I know.

Why do people do this? Do they want to be driving and have no one directly in front of them? Are they oblivious? Is it something else?

Let me know what you think.

Daylight Savings Time

It was originally created for farmers to get more daylight time to do their work. This doesn't seem relevant any more.

Why do we still continue with the changing of the clocks for Daylight Savings Time?

Man on the Moon

40 years later, and the question remains... Why haven't we been back to the moon?

Are conspiracy theorists correct, and it was all a hoax staged in a Hollywood studio?

Aspertame

There are so many arguments about Aspartame!
It causes headaches.
It is addictive.
It will cause many different diseases.
It will kill you.

But the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has approved it as safe for use, and human consumption.

What does aspartame really do to the body. Is it safe, or not?

Kids Sleeping

Why do tired children have so many problems sleeping. It seems very simple... you're tired, you sleep. But that is not the reality.

Hypnotists

I went to see a Hypnotist show today, and I left there wondering about the people that volunteer to be hypnotized. Some seemed to be faking, and were asked to leave the stage. Some seemed to be overdoing it, some were not doing anything that was suggested by the hypnotist, and some seemed to be actually hypnotized.

Does hypnotism actually work?
